The ERAS Society thoracic surgery working group published its completed guideline on perioperative care after lung surgery, produced jointly with the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons (ESTS), in the European Journal of Cardiothoracic Surgery (January 2019). This work was initially presented in 2017 at the ESTS annual meeting in Innsbruck, with an update at the ESTS annual meeting in Ljubljana in May 2018.
